J&J Pool Service is a small but extremely busy swimming pool service business.
Duties will include assisting with:
Opening and closing swimming pools
Installation of swimming pool liners
Vacuuming and weekly maintenance of residential pools
Installation and plumbing of pumps, filter and other equipment
Leak detection and repairs
A variety of other service related repairs
We have multiple positions available for both experienced and non-experienced workers.
Swimming Pool Service Technician
May 1 - October 31
50+ hours per week during May, June and part of July
Applicant must have
1-2 full seasons of swimming pool service
Valid G license and clean abstract
must be able to open and vacuum pools, test chemicals, do basic service work and have a good understanding of pool systems operations
Good people skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
must be able to work independently with little supervision
willing to work long hours outdoors
General labourer position
We will train for this position
May 1- October 31
40-50 hours per week
Applicant must have
transportation to and from our shop (G-licensed driver preferred)
be willing to work hard and long hours outdoor
be highly motivated and willing to learn
positive friendly attitude
experience working as a labourer an asset
Receptionist
We will train for this position
Applicant must be friendly and polite on the phone
Duties will be:
Answer phones
Schedule job
Order parts
Basic Bookkeeping
